The Redmount RM-1022 Rim Straightening Machine is designed to remove buckles and bumps from all types of wheel. This two-in one machine is equipped with both a powerful 5 ton power hydraulic pump and ram, as well as a lathe to add finish to the repaired wheel.
The Area Damage Indicator identifies on which part of the wheel the problem lies. The wheel is then locked in position while the ram is used to return the wheel to it's original shape, using one or more of the assorted heads included, and pushing from a wide range of angles.(Alloy wheels will require heat). The lathe is then used to "finish off" the wheel, restoring it to new.
The Remount RM 1026 Rim Straightner has the additional benefit of a polisher and can accommodate rims of 10-26” in width.
